• Where are you based?

I currently live in the Salt Lake City, UT area. Utah offers SUCH a variety of locations to shoot at, as well as beautiful venues. If you’re thinking of eloping in Utah you will not regret it!

As of June-August of 2024, I will be living in the Phoenix, AZ area (Dayton got an internship!) I’ll be back in Utah after August 2024 until May 2025, and then I am hoping to make it back to the Phoenix area! #ValleyProud. If you’re getting married or want to do a session in Phoenix summer of 2024, hit me up!

  • Sessions are meant to be fun, not stressful. Although I 100% understand it is natural to be a little nervous! Before sessions I like to confirm the location and make sure you know exactly how to get there and where we will meet. During the session I play music to keep out any awkward silences and set the mood. If there is a certain playlist or type of music you like, send it my way!

I’m def a chit-chatter so you can expect me to learn allllll the details about you guys ;)

Posing wise- I like to keep it as natural as possible. I’ll give you prompts and direct you when needed, but for the most part I let you take it where you want to go. If you feel a little nervous about being in front of the camera, try posing in front of the mirror at home, or save some poses on Pinterest to show me!

  • Yes! For those in the military or first responder field, I offer a 25% off discount. Every year I select certain locations to discount. To learn more about that and if you qualify please contact me. I also offer discounts for select locations.

  • Do you travel?

Simple answer: YES! I go where you need me to be, and do countless out of state sessions a year.

The more complex answer: I currently do not take session in Utah between the Logan and Farmington area (so the very northern part of Utah)

  • Session galleries can take 2-3 weeks, while wedding galleries can take 4-6 weeks. It may seem like a long time, but there is a lot that goes into the editing process!

If you really need the photos fast, please let me know before the session!

  • In Utah, it is very common for people to have 3-5 month long engagements. However, depending on the time of year, I tend to book 10-15 months out. For out of state weddings I can book as far out as two years. The minute you are ready to plan a wedding, reach out! March-October are considered busy wedding season, while November-February are known to be off-season.

  • I do not currently offer prints through my website, but it is something I am working on! For now, I highly suggest ordering from Snapfish, Walmart, or even Walgreens. Each location offers a variety of price and format options. Check for local print shops as well!

  • The answer is a simple and polite 'no'. The style and editing process that I have developed has taken a long time, and there is a lot of effort that goes into editing photos. When hiring a photographer, always ask to see example galleries so you can make sure their editing style is a good fit for you!

  • In the event that I cannot make it to your wedding or session, I either do everything I can to reschedule or I find someone to fill in for me. In the event that someone fills in for me, I find a photographer who has a similar personality, shooting style, and professional experience as me. A fill-in-photographer is of no cost to my clients, and I edit the photos taken by said fill-in-photographer.

  • My biggest fear as a photographer is losing someone’s tangible memories, or, your photos. I won’t sugarcoat it and say it’s never happened, it’s happened twice to me (both early on in my career) where I lost portions of sessions (thankfully not entire sessions) due to SD card malfunctions. Through said learning process I now back up my photos as soon as I am finish with your session. They go onto a hard drive and then into my editing cloud, which can be reached on multiple devices. Photos are also automatically copied to a second SD card when shooting.

Although every photographer should (and most usually does) have a backup plan in place, sometimes crazy things happen and photos are lost. If this happens or has happened to you, your photographer should be refunding you and doing everything in their power to compensate you. Here is a great article regarding that situation: https://www.meredithgravesphotography.com/blog-posts/2019/1/7/im-sorry-i-lost-your-photos

  • This is not something I offer as it takes away from me creating art and the time I’ve taken to perfect my editing.

  • I donate monthly to Tunnel To Towers (https://t2t.org/) and to the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation (WWW.MARINESANCTUARY.ORG). I am a big believer in giving back to the world and the community in different ways. And if I could spend the rest of my life doing service to others I would. But for now I try to do a little good wherever I go and whenever I can!
